Terms of Use
Effective October 21, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the FiCapinatro app for iPhone ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
What the app is
FiCapinatro is an educational tool about stocks and dividends. It offers lessons, a practice portfolio and a planner that shows public market data and estimates based on the purchases you enter. It isn't a brokerage, investment adviser or financial institution. It doesn't hold or move money, connect to brokerage accounts or place real orders.
Practice portfolio
The practice portfolio uses practice cash that has no monetary value and can't be deposited, withdrawn, exchanged or redeemed. Practice orders aren't sent to any market. Results in the practice portfolio don't reflect real trading, where prices, fees, taxes and timing differ.
No advice
The app's content isn't investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold a security. Collections in Discover are groups of well-known companies and funds shown for reference, not recommendations. Consider talking to a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
Estimates and data
Projected ex-dividend dates, payout amounts, income, backtests and plans are estimates based on past data and your assumptions. Companies decide their own payouts and can change, pause or stop them. Market data comes from third-party public sources and can be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Verify important figures with your brokerage or the company before relying on them. Past results don't predict future returns.
Your data
You're responsible for the information you enter. It's stored on your device, so it isn't backed up by us and can be lost if you delete the app or your device's storage is reset.
Acceptable use
Use the app for personal, lawful purposes. Don't attempt to disrupt the app or the data services it relies on, or use it to redistribute market data.
Availability
Features and data sources can change or become unavailable. The app is provided "as is", without warranties, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer isn't liable for losses or damages arising from use of the app or reliance on its information, including investment losses.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
